KPV peptide is about as small as peptides get: three amino acids (lysine, proline, valine) taken from the tail end of alpha-MSH, the same hormone Melanotan is built on. KPV keeps the anti-inflammatory side of alpha-MSH and leaves the pigment side behind, so it isn’t a tanning peptide. It’s the one people bring up when the problem is inflammation that won’t quit.

Most people find KPV through their gut. It shows up constantly in IBS, colitis, and leaky-gut threads, usually from someone who has already done the elimination diets, the probiotics, and the bone broth, and still has a gut that flares. The second big crowd is skin: eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and red, reactive skin that doesn’t respond to much else. You’ll also see KPV in histamine and MCAS circles, and in recovery stacks from lifters who want inflammation handled without living on ibuprofen.

How it works, in plain English: inflammation inside a cell runs through a master switch called NF-kB. When it flips on, the cell starts pumping out inflammatory signals like TNF-alpha and IL-6. KPV gets inside the cell and turns that switch down. It quiets the signal instead of shutting the immune system off the way a steroid does. The gut gets a bonus: intestinal cells pull small peptides in through a transporter called PepT1, and inflamed gut tissue makes more of it, so KPV tends to end up where the inflammation is. That’s a big part of why the colitis research gets so much attention.

KPV is often run with BPC-157, and the logic is simple: KPV turns the inflammation down, BPC-157 does the rebuilding. That pairing is the backbone of a lot of gut stacks. If you’ve used our KLOW Stack, KPV is already in it. This is KPV on its own, so you can run it solo or build your own stack.

We’d rather be straight with you: the strongest KPV data is still from animal and cell studies, and there aren’t big human trials yet. Most of what’s out there on people is community experience. That hasn’t hurt its reputation, but go in with realistic expectations. Progression Peptides offers KPV in 10mg vials of lyophilized powder for reconstitution with bacteriostatic water.

Reconstitution: Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. Allow the powder to dissolve gently without shaking.

Storage: Store at -20 degrees C in lyophilized form. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 2-8 degrees C and use within 30 days.

For Research Purposes Only. Not for human consumption. Not for veterinary use. Sold strictly for in vitro and laboratory research applications.
